Check out our Business Directory to get information on all the businesses helping us support our community. Remember, these Members show pride not only in their businesses but also in the community of Gooding.
2023 was an exciting year for the Gooding Chamber of Commerce as we continued to draw on the skills and expertise of various Board members. Some felt the calling to serve in other areas of the community, yet we were blessed with others who found our Board where they wanted to share volunteer hours with us.
We had an exciting membership drive that increased our count, followed by some outstanding speakers throughout the year. Our beautification program was evident in Tom Woodland’s focus on the flower baskets and, later, using funds from a RED grant sponsored by Glanbia, from which we will see other floral arrangements hanging from the streets in the future.
Stores and community members alike responded to the Shop Local event, and again this year, we were simply amazed at the outstanding generosity of local businesses who supported the program.
We worked diligently to expand the Holiday Kickoff, integrating the efforts of Clay Jacksoj’s Broken Bonz fundraiser for the Senior Center and Heather from Buzz Thru Daily with another Dutch oven cook-off and Christmas Tree sales. The two-day event was quite an experience for kids and Santa; the parade and Brittnee Horting hosted a two-day craft event at North Valley Academy.
